The NCR RealPOS XR8, 7607 class, POS Terminal offers power, security and versatility in one of the smallest form factors in its class. The RealPOS XR8 allows the retailer to decide the type, style and nature of the operator screen, receipt printer, customer facing display, cash drawer and other peripherals -is powered by the latest 6th generation Intel Core processor technology and can be used as a POS terminal or a back-office server. The XR8 is a compact POS systems with a unique design which lets you select either front or rear peripheral connectivity to simplify cabling and accessibility, plus all connections are secured by a key lock for increased security.
As is the case with all NCR retail systems, RealPoS XR8 is retail hardened – in other words it is tested in approved laboratories to ensure that it is suitable for the rigors commonly encountered in retail environments. Many other PoS Ssytems are not subjected to the same testing, so they are not as reliable as NCR PoS Systems and frequently fail at an early stage of their life cycle.
NCR retail technology is designed with a view to delivering unbeatable Return on Investment, with a minimum 5 year product life cycle and 5 years spare parts availability after the product is end of life (EOL).
