The NCR RealPOS 7168 is a double-sided multifunction receipt printer. The 7168 receipt printer uses advanced thermal printing technology to reduce the carbon footprint of the retailers technology base by printing on both sides of the receipt and therefore reducing the amount of paper used per receipt. The two-sided receipt printing technology in the 7168 also allows the retailer to use the back of the receipt for coupons, vouchers and other promotional activity which can be deployed across the chain, on a regional basis on a store basis or even department by department. The 7168 uses impact printing technology in its slip printer mechanism.
