As of September 2007 IORESOURCE will distribute Printek's range of Mobile Printer products.

We expect that the addition of this product set to our portfolio will further enhance our mobile product portfolio and help us to meet customer demands that hitherto were not addressed by existing products.

In order to enhance the range of services on offer, IORESOURCE has agreed to service the NordicID "Piccolink" range of hand held devices.

The arrangement means that customers can return the devices to our premises in Rathnew, Co. Wicklow rather than having to wait for equipment to be repaired and returned by NordicID.

The unique features of the Canon KT-1 Handy Terminal including built-in printer and chip & pin solution make it a must for mobile PoS solutions.

IORESOURCE added this product range to the portfolio of mobile products supplied to the Irish market in May 2007. Project focussed, the KT-1 delivers functionality, durability and reliability.

On 1st March 2007 ELO TouchSytems launched its latest touch technology - Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR) - at their 2007 distributor conference. The launch was held at the Belgian Military Air Base at Florennes, as guests of Belgium's No. 1 Squadron.

APR combines the ultimate in optical qualities, durability, and stability, with excellent dragging properties, along with stylus, glove and fingernail activation, and low cost advantages. In addition, it is resistant to water and other contaminants on the screen, can be scaled from PDA to 42-inch displays, and provides palm rejection during signature capture.

APR works in a simple and elegant way—by recognizing the sound created when the glass is touched at a given position.

In early February 2007 IORESOURCE was honoured to receive an award from Unitech Europe in recognition of our outstanding sales performance for 2006 during the course of the launch of the PA600 rugged PDA at Dusseldorf, Germany.

2006 witnessed the successful implementation of a number of key projects by IORESOURCE partners based on Unitech hardware platforms. Unitech Europe launched their long awaited PA600 rugged PDA in Dusseldorf Germany during early February 2007.

In recognition of our outstanding performance in the mobile computer and auto-id market, IORESOURCE has been appointed the main distributor for Nordic ID in Ireland.

The 560 is the latest Retail Touch Computer from J2 Retail Systems.

This new addition to the highly successful 500 series Touch Computers from J2 provides our customer base with an even greater range of solutions to their requirements. The feature rich 560 is available with either Resistive or Infra Red touch technologies.

touch4 is a new concept from UK based Service Alert.

The touch4 service call system allows the client easy interaction with staff whenever the customer needs service, whether it is waiter service, drinks or the bill. The advantage of the system for staff is that it makes their life easier by focusing on customer requirements when they arise. From the perspective of the owner/manager it increases revenue, focuses resources and provides essential analytical data that allows the business's resources to be used to greater effect.

A futher enhancement has been added to the PA9xx range of Rugged PDA's from Unitech.

The PA966 retains the award winning form factor of the PA9xx series but features a full alpha keyboard, optional 2D imager, a transfelctive TFT screen and will operate at temperatures as low as -20 degrees celcius.

The MS833 laser scanner kit from Unitech is available with USB, Keyboard Wedge and RS232 interfaces. This robust product in pistol grip form factor comes complete with flexistand and comms. cable.

We believe the cost:performance ratio of this offering will gain significant market share for Unitech in the hand held laser scanner market.

The addition of this range of innovative products fills a gap in our product portfolio and allows IORESOURCE to offer a more complete range of solutions to our client base.

As a result of continuous strong growth and in order to enhance the range of services provided to our customer base, we have appointed a dedicated Customer Services Technician.

Core duties will focus on our Warehouse, Shipping and Service functions.

Nick Butler, one of the founding members of IORESOURCE has departed the company to pursue other interests.
